Treats and Bags

In most cases, we will use a dog’s daily food for training. But there can be some advantages to using higher-value rewards in training. Below are the treats that I recommend if we choose to use something other than your dog’s regular food as a reward.

Doggone Good Treat Bag

I have used many treat bags over the years and this is by far the best!

It comes in many colors and has multiple inside and outside pockets! It has a built-in metal belt clip and comes with a waist strap.

It also can be put into the washing machine or top shelf of the dishwasher for cleaning!

Red Barn Dog Food Roll

These food rolls are a great alternative to bagged treats and far cheaper in the long run. Red Barn is a complete diet so you don’t have to worry about giving your dog extra empty calories.

It is recommended that Reb Barn is kept refrigerated when not being used.

Happy Howie’s Dog Treats

Though not as long-lasting as Red Barn (above), Happy Howie’s are a less messy alternative. These treats are not a complete meal, but it can be a great treat for dogs who do not have trouble with weight.

It is recommended that Happy Howie’s is kept refrigerated when not being used.
